Adele: Singer announces return to Las Vegas residency

Adele has announced plans to return to Las Vegas for a new three-year residency, according to US weekly Vanity Fair.

The 27-year-old singer – who last performed there in 2016 – will begin performances at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino on 24 February 2020.

Adele is currently single after splitting from financial analyst Simon Konecki last year.

While in Las Vegas, Adele said: “You meet people there, and they’re just a complete f**king whirlwind.”

“It’s the best idea I’ve ever heard.”

The Paradise singer’s residency will run until February 2021.

She last performed in Sin City after fulfilling a series of commitments with her then-boyfriend, Simon Konecki.

Adele and Simon – who have a two-year-old son together – had tied the knot just two months before.

She tied the knot with boyfriend Simon Konecki , with whom she has a two-year-old son in October 2015. He is the son of his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child.

The singer won her first Grammy in 2012 and the accolade marked the second time she had walked away with a gong for her debut album, 19.

Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams also recently announced plans to set up a Vegas residency.
